I am a big fan of journals, particularly journals that make you do work.

Yes, I know, I am a bit odd that way.

So I was pretty excited to receive Quotes & Questions a journal for your kid’s quotable moments ($18.05, Raincoast Books, Chronicle Books).

The book offers a series of questions you can ask your child to encourage quotable moments.

There isn’t a lot of space for the answers, which is good for us. The book is small. One page is a graphic, the other is the question with a few lines to answer.

Questions include, what is better day or night? What is something difficult you would like to learn? And what rule doesn’t make sense to you.

The questions are so fun that I have been writing down my 10-year-old son’s answers and also writing my own.

A copy of this book was provided by Raincoast Books for an honest review.
The opinions are my own.
